Tarikh Pe Tarikh: Man Creates A Scene In Local Delhi Court Over Delay In Justice

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol's iconic court room drama Damini released in 1993. 28 year's later, a litigant in a local court in Delhi caught everyone off guard by recreating the on screen moment with a bit more accentuated drama. It not only created a scene in court room no. 66 of  Delhi's Karkardooma court led to the arrest of the disgruntled man.

According to sources the man named Rakesh was frustrated over the delay in justice in his case which has been pending since 5 years.

Merely shouting the iconic dialogue Tarikh Par Tarikh wouldn't have created a mess but Rakesh reportedly went a step ahead and broke computers and court room furniture to make things worse for himself. It has also been alleged that Rakesh smashed the dais of the Judge, thus disturbing the order of the Court. 

The accused was later presented before a magistrate and remanded to judicial custody.
