Gaurav Dugar has joined Dream Sports as Head of M&A (Legal).
Dugar was previously the General Counsel at CredAble, a Fintech focused on working capital financing.
Prior to joining CredAble, he worked for 3 years at Trilegal and then spent 6 years at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
As General Counsel of CredAble, he was responsible for building and leading the organisation's legal and corporate governance verticals, and he worked as part of the leadership team to enable growth. Dugar's role involved advising on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, including contract negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution.
During his time in private practice, he advised private equity funds on their marquee transactions in India, which helped him develop a solution-based approach to legal advisory.
In addition to his professional work, Dugar is passionate about speaking, writing, and teaching assignments. He has also had the opportunity to speak at various industry events and have recently started writing for legal publications.
