Advait Krishan Luthra, Partner at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India passed away on September 14, 2024.

Advait Luthra was the nephew of Late Rajiv K. Luthra, the former Managing Partner of Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India.

Rajiv Luthra passed away in May, 2023. The firm was set up in the 1990s.

Over the years, Luthra & Luthra Law Offices assisted numerous multinational corporations in setting up their presence in India and navigated skillfully through the complex Indian legal system.

Advait Krishan Luthra was a Partner with Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India, specialising in Telecommunications, Media & Technology Law. His expertise was in the space of fintech, data privacy, and various other emerging technologies such as e-commerce, cloud-based services, OTT platforms, data centres, AI, crypto currencies, block chain, IoT, health tech, and regulation of outer space such as through regulation of satellite communication technologies. He had also advised clients on matters pertaining to telecommunication licenses and had assisted telecommunication players to obtain various licenses and advised them on matters of spectrum allocation and other relevant regulatory and compliance issues.

Advait worked closely with industry regulators, associations, and corporate members, and provided legal assistance to all parties across the spectrum of technology related matters. He had also advised some of the largest global and national technology companies and start-ups on regulatory issues, licenses and approvals, policies and contracts. Some of these include Audi Ag, Google India and Airtel Payments among many others.
