Centre Appoints Six Senior Advocates As Additional Solicitor General Before SC
Additional Solicitors General are law officers of the Union Government. The current Solicitor General of India is Tushar Mehta
The Central Government has appointed six senior advocates as Additional Solicitors General to represent before the Supreme Court of India.
The appointment was made by way of a notification on September 9, 2024. The appointment has been made for a period of three years.
The names of newly appointed Additional Solicitors General:
1. Shri S. Dwarakanath
2. Ms. Archana Pathak Dave
3. Shri Satya Darshi
4. Sanjay Shri Brijender Chahar
5. Shri Raghavendra P. Shankar
6. Shri Rajkumar Bhaskar Thakare (Raja Thakare)
