[Breaking] Lawyer Seen In Obscene Footage During Virtual Hearing Provisionally Barred From Practice
A shocking video has been doing the rounds on social media wherein a lawyer is seen getting intimate with a woman on camera during a live virtual court proceeding. The lawyer in the video has been identified as R.D. Santhana.
The incident took place during a virtual hearing before the Madras High Court on Monday. It has been learnt that the court has initiated contempt proceedings and ordered a CB-CID inquiry into the offensive and highly objectionable video footage.
The indecent behavior captured on camera has proven to be costly for the lawyer. According to a resolution passed by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, the Advocate has been provisionally barred from practicing law until the conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings against him.
