Emerald Law Offices represents Birla Estates Private Limited in a joint venture (JV) transaction with Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited (a listed entity) to develop residential real estate in South Delhi.

Birla Estates Private Limited is the real estate arm and a 100 per cent wholly owned subsidiary of Century Textiles and Industries Limited, the flagship Company of the B. K. Birla Group of Companies with presence in textiles, rayon yarn, pulp & paper, salt, chemicals and more. Birla Estates Private Limited is one of the fast-growing real estate developers in the Country. 

The firm advised Birla Estates Private Limited in a joint venture transaction with Indian Hume Pipe Company Limited (a listed entity) to develop residential real estate in South Delhi. The JV will develop real estate of 13 Lakh (approx.) square feet FSI and will and is estimated to generate top line revenue of upwards of INR 3500 Crore. The firm rendered end-to-end advisory to Birla Estate for the transaction including, due diligence, transaction structuring, drafting and negotiating of the transaction documentation including JV documentation, Escrow agreements, etc.
