Veritas Legal acted for and advised UPL Limited in relation to their joint venture with Aarti Industries Limited for manufacturing and marketing of specialty chemicals. The assignment involved multiple transaction documents for which Veritas Legal provided support. These include shareholders agreement, share subscription agreement, manufacturing and supply agreements, and other allied transaction documents.
UPL Limited and Aarti Industries Limited have entered into a joint venture agreement for manufacturing and marketing of specialty chemicals that has applications in multiple downstream industries. Post closing of the transaction, both UPL Limited and Aarti Chemicals Private Limited will have a shareholding of 50 per cent each in Augene Chemical Private Limited.
