Shishir Kumar Joins AIFL As Chief Compliance Officer & General Counsel
Shishir Kumar has been appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer & General Counsel for Aseem Infrastructure Finance Ltd. (AIFL).
Prior to joining AIFL, Kumar was with Edelweiss Group as Executive Vice President & Head Legal Performing Corporate Credit Fund. He joined Edelweiss Group in 2014. Initially, he was part of Structured Finance and Real Estate Business as Head Legal.
Before Joining Edelweiss, Kumar worked in IDFC Ltd as Director Legal, dealt assignment relating to Infrastructure financing, fund raising and litigation for the group.
He started his career as arguing counsel in Calcutta High court and DRT and was attached as Chamber of Calcutta High court Barrister.
Being in Banking & Finance sector for more than 24 years, he has handled matters related to Performing Credit Fund, Real Estate Fund, Infra Fund, Banking, Infrastructure Project Finance, High Value Litigation of value more than Rs 500 crores, Structured Finance, Mid market products lending.
