Khaitan & Co advised Komatsu on the acquisition of GHH Group GmbH (Germany) and inter alia its Indian subsidiary GHH India Mining and Tunnelling Equipment Private Limited, from its current shareholder, Schmidt Kranz Group. Komatsu is a Japanese multinational corporation engaged in the manufacturing of construction, mining, forestry, and industrial heavy equipment. GHH Group GmbH is a manufacturer of underground mining, tunnelling and special civil engineering equipment headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. With this strategic investment in GHH Group GmbH’s leading products, solutions and talent, Komatsu is excited to further strengthen its position in underground mining as it seeks to support new and existing customer operations worldwide.
