AZB And Partners Represents Dharma Productions In A 1000 Crore Stake Sale Deal With Adar Poonawalla led Serene Productions

Adar Poonawalla led Serene Productions has negotiated a deal to aquire 50 percent stake in Dharma Productions for INR 1000 crore. The transaction is structured through a combination of primary and secondary transactions. AZB & Partners represented Dharma Productions, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta in relation to the proposed acquisition of 50% of Dharma Productions. 

Johar wll likely retain 50 percent of stake in Dharma and Dharmatic productions and will contuniue to hold the position of Executive Chaiirman of the company.
