Suzlon Energy Appoints Sandeep Chowdhury As Group General Counsel

Sandeep Chowdhury has been recently appointed as Group General Counsel of Suzlon Energy. 

"Having expertise in various avenues of law, including litigation, advisory, and compliance and being in strategic legal leadership, I will be responsible for strengthening internal governance policies, stakeholder engagement, and legal compliance across Suzlon Group." Chowdhury said on his appointment.

In his previous role at HCC Ltd as Group General Counsel, Chowdhury looked after legal, regulatory and compliance matters and managed a team of lawyers working across various verticals. 

An alumnus of Calcutta University, Chowdhury started his career at Khaitan & Co, Chowdhury went on to work at different levels in companies like Walmart, Coca Cola, Baxter, UPL, Lafarge Cement during the course of his career.
