Sudha Bharadwaj's Request for Access to Five Books a Month in Jail Allowed by a Local Court in Mumbai

Additional Sessions Judge DE Kothalikar has allowed Advocate Sudha Bharadwaj,  an accused in Bhima Koregaon violence, to access five books a month in Byculla District Prison, Mumbai. 

The court ordered the Superintendent of Byculla jail to allow Ms Bharadwaj to access five books from outside the jail after precise investigation. He was also directed to make sure that no objectionable material is present in the books, especially material from blacklisted organisations like Revolutionary Democratic Front or CPI. Books containing pornographic and vulgar content are also prohibited by the Court
