New Delhi, 07th August 2020:With a strong focus on growth, Singh & Associates, India's leading full-service law firm has announced the appointment of Smita Singh to spearhead its Indirect Tax Practice. Smita is widely-recognised as an expert on Indian indirect tax laws.
S&A's highly qualified Indirect Tax Practice team advises Indian and international businesses on all aspects of Indirect Taxation in India, including GST and Customs laws. The practice will be now be led by Smita Singh who has extensive experience of over 14 years. She has previously worked with firms like Ashok Dhingra Associates (ADA), J Sagar Associates and Khaitan & Co. Smita's expertise lies in advisory, compliance and litigation assistance under the indirect tax, customs and the Foreign Trade Policy, including assistance during and after raid or investigations by authorities like the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the Directorate General Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGSTI). She completed her LLB from Delhi University in 2006.

This appointment is a part of S&A's ramped up expansion curve emanating from the Firm's focused growth-oriented strategy.
