Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Morgan Stanley PE Asia Fund (Morgan Stanley) on acquiring a minority stake in Hyderabad Institute of Oncology Private Limited (Company). The deal is valued approximately at INR 500 cr.
The Company operates a chain of hospitals (“Omega Hospitals”) focused on oncology and cancer treatment, across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Led by Dr. Mohan Vamsy, a leading surgical oncologist, Omega Hospitals is India’s second largest cancer-focused hospital chain.
