Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised EDF on Indian tax aspects of EDF’s acquisition of GE Vernova’s nuclear activities relating to conventional island of nuclear power plants.
This acquisition will enable the EDF Group to acquire key technologies and skills for the nuclear industry and European energy security. The deal was closed on May 31, 2024.
