Saumil Shah joining ELP's Direct Tax team

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) is pleased to announce that Saumil Shah has joined the firm as Director in its Direct Tax team. He joins us with two colleagues - Mitesh Chauhan and Juile Suryavanshi. 

Saumil has over 23 years of professional experience in direct tax and regulatory areas - including transaction advisory, mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring.  He has worked with foreign and domestic multinationals and family offices across industry segments.

 He was previously Partner at KPMG India, PwC India and most recently at Dhruva Advisors. He has also spent 2 years with KPMG in their Silicon Valley office in USA.  

Saumil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a distinct rank in the year 1996 and has also completed a Certificate Courses in International Taxation from Golden Gate University, San Francisco in the year 2000.
