Sameet Gambhir has joined UFlex as Sr. Vice President & Global head - Legal. Uflex is a multibillion organisation is India’s largest multinational flexible packaging and solutions company.
A law graduate and Company Secretary, Gambhir possesses rich experience of around 34 years in the field of Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, IPRs, litigation, contracting, Corporate restructuring, Labour laws, ESG and Corporate Secretarial in various Indian and Multi national companies. His immediate last assignment was with DCM Shriram Ltd as Vice President- Corporate law. He has also worked with KPMG India , Hill & Associates, Schneider Electric India and Mayar India Ltd in various positions heading Legal , compliance and corporate secretarial.
Gambhir is also Co- Chairman of Corporate Affairs committee of PHDCCI, Member- Sub Committee constituted by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India for making Indian Standards on ESG, Member Working Group constituted by Ease of Doing Business (EODB) section of Ministry of Commerce & Industry Government of India. He is also Member - National Committee on Legal Affairs - CII and Member - National Council for Corp. Affairs, Co. Law and Corporate Governance - ASSOCHAM and Member – National Council for Legal Affairs & Regulatory Affairs - ASSOCHAM. He is also Member of Board of Study of GD Goenka Law School. He is also Member of ESG Committee of Delhi Management Association (DMA). He is also Visiting Faculty / speaker/ guest lectures at IMT-Ghaziabad, IMI - New Delhi, LBSIM - New Delhi, NDIM- New Delhi and at various programmes organised by other forums.
