President Of India Engages Shashank Bajpai Among Others As Central Government Standing Counsel

In a recent development, the President of India has engaged Shashank Bajpai among others as Central Government Standing Counsels (CGSC) to represent before the Delhi High Court. 

The engagements, effective immediately, have been made for a tenure of three years, commencing from the date of the Order F. No. J-11017/26/2023-Judicial (13.03.2024), issued by the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. 

Shashank Bajpai is a prominent figure in the legal fraternity, renowned for his extensive experience and expertise in handling complex legal matters. 

He has a distinguished track record of representing clients in the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, and various tribunals. He was also recently empaneled as a counsel by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG).  

The engagement of Shashank Bajpai underscores his reputation as advocates in the field of law, further solidifying his position as a trusted legal representative for the Central Government. With their engagement, the counsels will be entrusted with conducting Central Government litigations before the Delhi High Court, Central Administrative Tribunal (PB) at New Delhi, Armed Forces Tribunal (PB) New Delhi.
