Lakshay Maggon joined Home Credit India as Assistant Vice President - Legal.

Prior to joining Home Credit India, Maggon worked as Senior Legal Manager at Upgrad.

Speaking on the development, Maggon said, "I am looking forward to overseeing the legal function and leading the funding vertical at Home Credit. It is going to be an exciting journey working on diverse set of transactions and collaborating closely with the team at our headquarters in Czech."

Lakshay Maggon is experienced in commercial contracts, strategising global IP Portfolios and related licensing structures, handling big-ticket lending, BNPL business structuring, technology agreements, debt, and other associated agreements with institutions. He has experience with handling corporate litigation, data privacy issues stemming from GDPR and data protection framework in India, driving ABAC AML policy, organisational policies, and risk mitigation strategies curated for MNC's or companies on a rapid growth trajectory.
