Khaitan & Co advised Bandhan Bank on the grant of a rupee term loan facility of INR 600 crores (Facility) to JSW Steel Limited (Borrower). The Facility is secured by a first pari passu charge by way of hypothecation on all the moveable fixed assets of the Borrower pertaining to 3.2 MTPA Steel plant situated at Vijayanagar, in the State of Karnataka.
