Khaitan & Co advised KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH ("Lender") and SACE S.p.A. in relation to a Euro denominated ECA covered unsecured external commercial borrowing aggregating EUR 100 million granted by the Lender to JSW Vijayanagar Metallics Limited. SACE S.p.A. acted as the ECA insurer and has guaranteed upto 80 per cent of the Facility. The Facility is also backed by a letter of comfort from JSW Steel Limited.
