Khaitan & Co. Advises Aditya Birla Fashion And Retail

Khaitan & Co advised Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) in relation to its majority acquisition of Goodview Fashion Private Limited (manufacturer and ethnic couture brand ‘Tarun Tahiliani’) by increasing its stake from 33.5 per cent to 51 per cent, by way of secondary purchase from existing shareholders.

Following the transaction, Goodview Fashion Private Limited, has become a subsidiary of ABFRL effective from July 11, 2024.

The core team consisted of Shourya Sengupta (Partner), Sneh Lata (Principal Associate) and Arka Banerjee Choudhury (Senior Associate).

The Firm was involved in advising and assisting the Client in structuring of the transaction; drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalising various transaction documents; and closing related actions.
