Amid the ongoing oxygen crisis in Delhi when patients are struggling to get life-saving gas, Seasoned Lawyer Sudhir Mishra, Founding Partner, Trust Legal has started the “Surrender the Cylinder Campaign” from his LinkedIn Account.
In a video message posted on LinkedIn, Mr Mishra is seen imploring the people against hoarding oxygen cylinders at home in the fear of contacting COVID.
"Surrender the cylinder. If you don't have a corona patient who needs oxygen at home, Don't hoard it". Don't be an oxymoron, who holds the oxygen cylinder, only on the fear of Corona. Get rid of that fear of Corona. Help the nursing home and the hospital nearby. Hospitals and nursing homes can save more patients because the oxygen express and the oxygen tankers are still struggling to supply the medical oxygen on time in Delhi. They will continue to struggle for a few more days. Hospitals need you, nursing homes need you, the patient who has to have the oxygen needs you to surrender the oxygen cylinder."- Mr Sudhir Mishra.
Eminent Journalist Ravish Kumar has also endorsed the "surrender the oxygen cylinder“ campaign. Considering the tremendous mismatch between the demand and supply of Oxygen in Delhi hospitals, the initiative couldn't have been more timely. Let's join hands and become part of the movement.
