Indian law firms today are playing a transformative role in navigating the complex legal ecosystem. Emphasising their pivotal role in shaping the economic and ethical fabric of society, Justice Dipak Misra, Former Chief Justice Of India, said that the growth trajectory for law firms amid the AI laced digital climate requires lateral thinking with focus on collective expertise.
“The field of law desires a lawyer to be globally relevant after globalisation of commerce and the ideas intricately connected with it. Modernism requires inbuilt enthusiasm as that ushers in industry and creativity, the two major planks of sustenance in any field of work,” said Justice Misra.
“Growth of law firms today is not embedded in traditional thought processes but in their courage to have impact, ambition to dream and expand, and conviction and attitude to be solution-oriented by their determination to solve problems that are manifold,” he added.
Justice Misra also underscored how legal teams navigate complex transactions and assume the significant role of negotiators becoming argus-eyed to sustain the reputation of their firms and save the interest of the entity. “They enable their clients to earn trust which is vital in a highly competitive economic world,” said Justice Misra while delivering his keynote address at the BW Legal World Global Legal Leaders Summit And Awards 2024.
The Fifth edition of BW Legal World Global Legal Leaders conference And Awards 2023 took place at The Imperial in Delhi on May 12, 2024.
