Singhania & Co. has onboarded Dr. Sridhar Mothe as a partner in Hyderabad to strengthen its Construction and Infrastructure Arbitration Practice. Dr. Mothe is a seasoned professional with 35 years of experience in the government and private sectors, specialising in the administration of infrastructure project contracts. He was selected for the Central Engineering Services (IES) in 1987 and joined the Civil Wing of AIR & TV.
Dr. Mothe has held significant roles, including heading the Contracts & Claims division of NCC Ltd.'s Building division and leading the Contracts & Legal department at SEW Infrastructure Ltd. He has extensive experience in handling claims, litigations, and disputes through various arbitration, Dispute Resolution Boards (DRBs), and conciliations. He is well-versed in administering multiple government contracts, including CPWD and FIDIC model contracts, and is an expert in delay analysis and its methodologies.
