In a recent notice, the Bombay High Court Administration has alerted the public about a trend of fraudulent calls and text messages being made in the name of Hon’ble Judges and Judicial Officers associated with the court.

These communications, which demand money and portray fake identities, have set alarm bells ringing among court officials and the general public. The notice emphasises that unknown individuals are impersonating judicial figures, leading to potential scams that could result in financial loss for unsuspecting victims. 

In the said notice, the High Court Administration has urged anyone who receives such calls or messages to refrain from responding and report such incidents to the local police station. The notice further elaborates on the fact that the High Court is taking independent action against the perpetrators to combat fraudulent activities.
