BW Legal World organised the Global Legal Summit and global Leaders Award wherein we had full house participation of eminent legal veterans from the legal industry. The event saw the participation of some of the most celebrated legal icons and among the greatest ones, was Justice Dipak Mishra.

Justice Mishra stressed on the importance of developing an ability infrastructure while sharing his insights on the two pillars of dispute resolution; Arbitration and Mediation and how they can contribute to India’s economic harmony and human progress.

He emphasised that Arbitration and Mediation as dispute resolution mechanisms are as ancient as the history of the origin of human civilisation. The main philosophy underlying the relevance and growth of Alternative Dispute resolution methods like mediation and arbitration is that it is quicker and cheaper.

"Above all, parties have a level of control of the process and  get the advantage of having a continued harmonious co-existence even after the process". he said.

He sees tremendous growth of expansion in the modern world and stressed on the potential transformation digital environments could bring for enabling economic growth.

“The concept of digital environments is one of the factors that play a role of a catalyst for economic growth. It’s because, it has a global reach, infinite capacity, tremendous connectivity and complex potentiality. Alongside, I also believe that it has the ability to innovate the human mind digitally.”

Hon'ble Justice Mishra concluded by saying that only a stable society can aspire for economic growth and upliftment of the poor.

"We as a society have to instil renewed hope to millions of India’s poor and vulnerable people and create conditions for shared prosperity and security".
