P.M. Devaiah to Join Adani Group as Group General Counsel

P.M. Devaiah who was working as Vice-Chairman & Group General Counsel at Everstone Group has quit from his position. He will be taking charge as Group General Counsel of Adani Group. NDA Partner Pratibha Jain will be replacing him as the new Group General Counsel of Everstone Group.

He joined Everstone in 2007 and was leading the company's legal and compliance team. He is credited for transforming the legal department into an “in-house law firm” under his visionary leadership.

A seasoned lawyer with over 27 years of experience Mr Devaiah started his career with Tata Projects Limited. He has worked with some of the leading companies in India across multiple domains.

His experience includes compliance, multi-lateral legal assignments, cross-border transactions, complex shareholder litigation & arbitration, as well as legal and compliance matters related to the private equity, power, telecom, and manufacturing sectors.

Mr Devaiah holds a Master of Laws from the University of Mysore.
