Nina Gupta Bhasin Elected To Supreme Court Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee

Ms Nina Gupta, Advocate of 42 years standing has been elected to the Supreme Court Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (GSICC).

The Supreme Court GSICC is constituted to fulfill a very important public function of sensitizing the public to gender issues and to address any complaints made with regard to sexual harassment at the Supreme Court precincts. The elections of two representatives of the Supreme Court Bar Association to GSICC were held  on 28th January 2022 through electronic mode. 

Ms Gupta has secured the highest number of votes followed by the second elected representative Shri Somvir Singh Deswal. The tenure of the GSICC is two years. She is also a distinguished Member of the Executive Committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association. She has done considerable work relating to POSH matters and issues.
