Minister of Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju Congratulates Newly Appointed Judges of the Delhi High Court

Minister of Law and Justice of India, Kiren Rijiju, announces through his Twitter handle the appointment of nine Advocates as Judges of the Delhi High Court.

The Tweet says, "In exercise of the power conferred under the Constitution of India, the following Advocates are appointed as Judges of Delhi High Court. I extend best wishes to all of them."

Here is the list of the newly appointed Judges:

1. Ms. Tara Vistasta Ganju, Advocate 

2. Smt. Mini Pushkarna, Advocate

3. Vikas Mahajan, Advocate

4. Tushar Rao Gedela, Advocate

5. Smt. Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora, Advocate

6. Sachin Datta, Advocate

7. Amit Mahajan, Advocate

8. Gaurang Kanth, Advocate

9. Saurabh Banerjee, Advocate


According to Tara Vistasta Ganju's LinkedIn profile, she has been a Principal Attorney with First Legal for over 16 years. She is an experienced attorney with a demonstrated history of working in the law practice industry. She is skilled in Dispute Resolution, Business Litigation, Arbitration, Family Law, Contract Negotiation, and Legal Research. Tara Ganju is also a trained Mediator at SAMADHAN, Delhi High Court Mediation Centre. 

Tara Ganju had a short stint as a Visiting Attorney in 1999 at the Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in London, UK, and was an Associate at Koura & Company for five years from 2001 to 2005 before starting her Independent practice.

With nine new appointments, Delhi High Court's bench strength has increased to 35 judges. The full sanctioned strength of the court is 60.
