Maruti Suzuki's First Woman GC Manjaree Chowdhary Promoted As Senior Executive Director

Renowned General Counsel Manjaree Chowdhary has been promoted to the position of Senior Executive Director at Maruti Suzuki.

"I thank the Management of Maruti Suzuki for their trust in me and look forward to contributing to company growth," Manjaree said in a LinkedIn post.

Manjaree is an experienced General Counsel with over two decades of successful history of working across South Asia and global geographies in diverse industries. 

She is known for her adaptive leadership style with an ability to assimilate quickly in diverse business environments to contribute effectively in a short span of time.

A master's in law from the University of London, she made a mid-career shift from academics to law and started her legal career with a leading law firm before switching to an inhouse role.
