Justice Yogesh Khanna Takes Oath As Judicial Member Of NCLAT

Justice Yogesh Khanna, former judge, Delhi High Court, took oath as a Judicial Member of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal on Monday.

The oath was administered by Justice Ashok Bhushan Chairperson of the Tribunal and Former Supreme Court judge.

The official communication for appointment stated that the Central Government had approved Justice Khanna's appointment to the post of Judicial Member in National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) in the salary of Rs. 2,25,000L per month, for a period of 4 years from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or till attaining the age of 67 years, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

About Justice Yogesh Khanna 

Justice Yogesh Khanna was born on 31st December, 1961. He did B Com (Hons) from Delhi University in the year 1983, and thereafter, LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Delhi in the year 1986. He began his legal profession at District Courts, Delhi in the year 1986 In the year 2000 joined Delhi Higher Judicial Service During his tenure in the District Courts, handled various cases including the Nirbhaya's case. He had been District Judge of North-West District. Rohini Courts, Delhi. He was elevated as Permanent Judge of Delhi High Court on November 8, 2016. He was retired on December 12, 2023.
