Delhi State Legal Services Authority Launches Legal Aid Express on the Occasion of Completing 25 Years

On Monday, the Delhi State Legal Services Authority launched a new initiative called Legal Aid Express. An e- comic was also released for school children at an event held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Delhi Legal Services Authority. That's not all, the event saw the inauguration of front offices of the District Legal Services Authorities at various court complexes of Delhi in the presence of Justice NV Ramana.

Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court and Patron in Chief Justice DN Patel also graced the silver jubilee celebrations along with Justice Vipin Sanghi. 

Justice NV Ramana highlights the work done by legal service authorities for the neglected sections of the society

Justice N.V. Ramana appreciated the fact that around 48,227 lawyers provide legal services to the neglected sections of the society through Legal Service Authorities across India.

In his address to the lawyers and judges present at the occasion, Justice Ramana also mentioned that the Delhi State Legal Services Authority has been instrumental in handling 1600 cases in the year 2020.

Besides, Justice Ramana also acknowledged the efforts made by Legal Services Authorities to promote Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanisms for speedy dispute resolution.
