Amber Gupta has joined National Stock Exchange of India as SVP, Head Legal. In his previous role, the seasoned in house counsel was working as Head Corporate Legal, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer at Aditya Birla Capital.
Gupta possesses two decades of rich experience in the field of legal, compliance, regulatory, dispute resolution, litigation management and corporate secretarial work. At Aditya Birla Capital, he was responsible for ensuring compliances with all corporate laws encompassing SEBI, RBI, FEMA, MCA, IT Laws and listing regulations.
He also formulated and implemented corporate governance, corporate secretarial practices and firm wide policies in the area of corporate compliance and stakeholders including shareholder management and board management. He is passionate about new age technology laws and fintech resolution, Data privacy, financial services supervision and governance and alternate dispute resolution.
