Lakhimpur Kheri Protests: Minister's Son Ashish Mishra Named In The FIR

8 people were killed in the anti farm law protests at Lakhimpur. 4 were farmers and the other four people in a convoy of BJP workers who were lynched. As of now, the police have registered 2 FIRs in connection with the unfortunate incident.

While many have cried foul play, Ashish Mishra, the son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra has been booked in the case. As voices from opposition leaders grew stronger, the Uttar Pradesh Government announced a probe into the matter headed by a retired HC judge.
