Delhi High Court to Resume Complete Physical Functioning From March 15

In September 2020, the High Court resumed physical hearings in its premises in a limited manner after holding only virtual courts from March 2020.

Eleven Benches of the High Court- two Division Benches, three single benches (Civil), three single benches (Criminal) and three original Jurisdiction benches have already begun holding physical hearings in the court from 18th January 2021.

Some benches have even adopted the hybrid mode for conducting courtroom proceedings. Earlier this month, a resolution was passed by the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) to request the Chief Justice, DN Patel for passing directions for the expeditious resumption of complete physical functioning of the courts in the capital.

From 15th March, complete physical functioning of the Delhi High Court will be resumed, nearly after a year.
