The fourth edition of the BW Legal World General Counsel Conclave and Awards 2024 was held at the Imperial, New Delhi on May 11, 2024.
The fourth edition of the BW Legal World General Counsel Conclave and Awards is an initiative to recognise and reward the prolific General Counsel who have made a mark for themselves in the profession. 180 total nominations of General Counsel were received and 151 were presented to the Jury by BW Legal World team. The jury deliberated upon each individual and marked them accordingly.
The conclave was marked by India's top lawyers and General Counsel sharing their knowledge about the changing role of GC and the fine print of how a GC navigates a company through different scenarios. The scintillating panel discussions shared deep insights into how GC operates. The panelists engaged on diverse topics of law like White Collar Crimes, Artificial Intelligence, corporate governance etc.
The Jury Chair Shri Dhanendra Kumar, Former Chairperson, Competition Commission of India and Chairperson, Competition Advisory Services LLP, said that General Counsel is the most important and go-to person for senior officials and their advice is valuable for smooth company operations.
The winners to be featured in BW Legal World Top 100 + General Counsel List were also announced during the high-profile event attended by 100+ General Counsel from all over the country.
